Two Harrells Christian Academy seniors have been selected to participate in the 2012 Oasis All Star Shrine Classic Games. Regan Murphy was chosen for volleyball and Russell Washington for football.
Murphy will be playing on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Charlotte Latin School. Game time is set for 11 a.m. as the best of the best seniors in NCISAA volleyball will compete against one another in the fourth annual East vs. West match. Murphy will be competing on the East team with 12 others from the region. She is the daughter of Dell and Wendy Murphy of Wallace.
Washington will play at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, at Mooresville High School. This football classic began in 2005, and it matches the top seniors from North Carolina independent schools against those from South Carolina. He is the son of Alicia Washington of Harrells.
