RALEIGH — Sen. Brent Jackson, R-Sampson, has announced that he will be holding a series of Legislative Town Halls across the district. The town halls are an opportunity for constituents to meet with Jackson and other elected members of the General Assembly to discuss their thoughts on issues facing the state and local community.

Many of those town halls are being conducted with week , with Sampson’s being held Thursday night, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m., at the Sampson Community College Activities Center.

“After the success of the town halls last year, I’m looking forward to these town halls and meeting with fellow citizens of the 10th district,” said Jackson. “The decisions we make in Raleigh have an impact on everyone and since not everyone can make it to Raleigh, the town halls are a great way to bring Raleigh to them.”

The schedule of the tour is listed below and includes other members of the North Carolina General Assembly that will be participating in the discussion.

The senator will be in Duplin County, at James Sprunt Community College, Williams Hall (Room 100) on Feb. 5. That event takes place at 7 p.m. He will be accompanied by Rep. Jimmy Dixon, R-Duplin.
