The members of Kingdom Building Baptist Church, 6200 High House Road, Salemburg, will celebrate the 26th pastoral anniversary of their pastor, Dr. Rudolph Tripp Friday night, Dec. 14, beginning at 7 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Henry Rogers and Disciple Church, Clinton. On Saturday, Dec. 15, the anniversary banquet will be held, starting at 4 p.m. The tickets are $15 per person; the event is semi-formal dress. The Rev. Floyd Green and Saint Peter’s Way Church of Durham, and Jordan Chapel male chorus from Louisburg will sing at the banquet. On Sunday, afternoon, at 3:30 p.m., there will be an anniversary sermon. The annual Christmas program will be held Sunday, Dec. 16 at the Greater Mount Calvary Holiness Church, 515 Southeast Blvd., Clinton. at 3:30 p.m. Appearing on the program will be Kierre Clark’s Praise Dancers of Roseboro, Brothers from the Street of Clinton, Billy Ray Henry and Family, elder Antonio Patterson, all of Clinton, the Faison Family of Roseboro, the Camp Agape Singers, the Renewed Singers of Clinton, soloist Patricia Weathers of Clinton and Tenisha Boykin Darden of Fayetteville. The annual Christmas program will be held at the Mingle Hill Disciples of Christ Church, 100 Zoar Church Road, Salemburg, Saturday, Dec. 15, beginning at 6 p.m. There will be a skit entitled, “We Shall Behold Him.” Appearing on the program will be Iram Christine Bannerman, minister Wendy Peterson, Billy Ray and the Gospelaries and gift-giving. All are welcome to attend.
Regular morning worship service will be held at the Snowhill Missionary Baptist Church, Roseboro, Sunday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. S.E. Bryant, will bring the message and the adult choir will provide the music. At 3 p.m., the annual Christmas program will be held. There will be singing, plays, skits and recitations. The Christ Missionary Baptist Church, now located at Salemburg Elementary School, will have its regular morning worship service Sunday, Dec. 16, beginning at 10 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Marvin T. Clowney, will bring the message and hte choir will provide the music. Don’t miss it.
The New Light Outreach Ministry, 708 Sampson St., Clinton, will have a Supernatural Breakthrough Revival Dec. 12-14 at 7 p.m. each night. The host pastor is Regina Lucious.
On Monday, Dec. 17, there will be a Christmas program at the House of Prayer in Faison, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be pastor Elevena Oliver of Faison. A New Year’s Eve gospel sing will be held at the Gospel Chapel Church, 10101 McKoy St., Clinton, Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve, with a covered dish supper at 8 p.m. A singing program will follow with the Easter Brothers and the Easter family. Bring a covered dish and a family beverage and join in the celebration. The Brown Family will participate as well. Make plans to attend.
On Saturday, Dec. 15, the Friendly Trio, along with the Church Association, will give out food bags from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 30, the Friendly Trio will give their last Sunday of the year program. Praying out the old and praying in the new year will be the theme. The guest speaker will be minister Janice Harding of Running Branch Church. Music will be provided by Together by God, Neal Thomas, brother Chris Eaton, bishop Eddie Adkinson and the Messengers.
On Sunday, Dec. 16, a musical Gospel Train will be held at the Friendly Community Center, U.S. 421 north/Hanson Road at 6 p.m. The theme for the evening will be “Season of Giving.” Minister Linda McNeal will do an inspirational word and the D.B. male chorus of Magnolia will sing.
The Pastor Aide of the Running Branch Disciple Church, Clinton, will have a program Friday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. The guest will be the Rev. Ray Bolton, choir and congregation. The host pastor is elder Calvin Deans. The public is invited.
Regular service will be held at the Trinity United Free Will Holiness Church Sunday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. Pastor Ann Mosson will deliver the morning message and the music will be provided by the choir. Everyone is invited.
