A Lenoir County man remained in the Sampson County Detention Center Wednesday, charged with myriad felonies that officers here served.
Caro Antwan Hawkins, 23, 803 N. Independence St., Kinston, was served seven additional warrants Tuesday by Sampson County Sheriff’s authorities who were holding him on other charges.’
Hawkins now faces seven counts each of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.
He has been jailed under a $70,000 secured bond and is to make his first appearance in court on Feb. 8.
Sampson officers could not provide further details on the incidents that led to Hawkins arrest or why he was being held in the Sampson County Detention Center.
Attempts to reach Lenoir County officials were unsuccessful by press time.
