After being nominated earlier this fall for UNC’s Morehead-Cain Scholarship, Harrells Christian Academy senior John Thomas has made it to the semi-finalist level.
Less than 15 percent of all who are nominated for this scholarship honor reach this level.
In January, Thomas will continue the process which includes an will interview with the scholarship committee and hopefully land him a finalist position.
He is the son of Parks and Cathy Thomas of Elizabethtown.
