The first suspect name has been released in connection with an armed robbery that took place at the Dollar General Store in Roseboro on June 21.
Megan Darleen Fuller, 25, has been identified as one of three suspects linked to the robbery that took place at the store late last month, according to Capt. Eric Pope of the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office.
“She is considered armed and dangerous,” Pope said Wednesday morning. “If anyone sees her or knows her whereabouts, call local law enforcement and let us handle it.”
On Thursday, June 24, around 8:48 p.m., two men burst into the Dollar General store, located at 608 N.C. Hwy. 24, brandishing weapons and demanding cash from the store clerk. The clerk attempted to open the cash drawer, but was thrown to the floor by one of the suspects, who immediately grabbed the cash register and ran out.
One suspect was described as a young black male, wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and a red, white and blue baseball cap. The second suspect was described as a black male wearing black shorts, a black long-sleeved shirt, tan boots and a camouflage baseball cap. Both suspects were armed with handguns.
Within hours after the robbery, an unknown, heavy-set white woman, now believed to be Fuller, attempted to use one of the credit cards that had been stolen in the robbery.
Fuller is a white female that stands just over 5 feet tall and weighs around 197 pounds.
She was last seen riding in an older model Ford Explorer, white in color, with grey trim on its bottom. If caught, she is facing two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
