Clinton High School student Jamison Kidd was recognized during Clinton City Schools' May board meeting as the recipient of the prestigious Pat Gainey Award from the NCHSAA. To be considered, Kidd had to have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, have a clean disciplinary record in both school and athletics, and have demonstrated athletic success.
