The sound of swirling helicopter blades has long been heard at the Spivey’s Corner Volunteer Fire Department as life fight helicopters have landed to transport injured or sick citizens to Raleigh, Durham, or Chapel Hill for immediate medical attention. Garland board OKs $3,000 for park accessories
