Two Garland-area men have found themselves in trouble with law enforcement, but not without first trying to avoid the trouble, with one of them leaving the scene of suspected criminal activity only to be caught a few minutes later. Clinton City Schools will be launching a new set of surveys next week in order to get a better and broader idea of how all its stakeholders gauge its effectiveness and success in education. Homeless man jailed on myriad charges
A homeless man, wanted on failure to appear charges, including several probation violations, fled from officers when they spotted him near Royal Lane Apartments earlier this week. Sheriff’s deputies are seeking information on a man who walked into a Roseboro convenience store Monday night and swiped the cash drawer when the clerk opened it. No one was injured, but the suspect got away with cash and left damages of over $1,500. According to Sheriff’s Capt.
