Most would be suspicious, but if the students’ teacher was using the flipped classroom approach to teaching, the students’ claims would be true. County students take part in college fair
Bambi Dove and Rosemary Simpson, Sampson County Schools Scholars Coordinators, recently took a group of students to the National College Fair in Raleigh.  At the fair, students visited with representatives from nearly 200 colleges and universities from across the country.  Students also attended special workshops on how to search for the best fit, application tips, essay writing, and how to finance a college education. Dove and Simpson encourage all college bound students to visit with them at their respective schools to explore college options, scholarships, and financial aid.  Dove is at Union High School and Simpson is at Midway High School on Monday and Tuesday.  Dove is at Hobbton High School and Simpson is at Lakewood High School on Wednesday and Thursday. A Sampson County man has found out the hard way that threats, a knife and a school campus are a recipe for jail.
