On Thursday, April 25, students at Union Elementary School became “stars” for the night. The school hosted a Dinner Theater/Talent Show titled “A Star is Born”. Guests dined on a spaghetti dinner catered by Denise McLamb, a kindergarten assistant, and her many helpers. Locals lift prayers of thanks, hope during national observance
As the nation marked its 62nd annual National Day of Prayer yesterday, many Sampson County locals joined in the observance, gathering at the courthouse to bring prayers of both thanksgiving and concern before God.
