Meth found while suspect being booked
A suspect being booked into the Sampson County Detention Center for a probation violation found himself with more charges than he had bargained for after officers reportedly found drugs in his possession. County students take part in college fair Bambi Dove and Rosemary Simpson, Sampson County Schools Scholars Coordinators, recently took a group of students to the National College Fair in Raleigh. At the fair, students visited with representatives from nearly 200 colleges and universities from across the country. Students also attended special workshops on how to search for the best fit, application tips, essay writing, and how to finance a college education. Dove and Simpson encourage all college bound students to visit with them at their respective schools to explore college options, scholarships, and financial aid.
