The recycling tonnage collected from Clinton curbs has increased every week since the city’s bi-weekly program began last month, a rate projected to cut into the city’s waste stream by 20 percent should it continue. Shelter’s gas chamber nears end
With the proper drugs now received to administer to animals for humane euthanasia, the long-operated gas chamber at the Sampson County Animal Shelter is on its last legs. The Turkey town board held a workshop Tuesday night to discuss the town’s budget. Although the public was welcome to attend, no public comments were taken.
