Investigators remained at a Quail Run Lane residence late Tuesday afternoon, the scene of a possible meth lab, and at least three suspects are being detained, believed to be connected to the crime. Family: McLamb improving
Listed in serious condition just a week ago, Sampson County commissioner Jarvis McLamb has been upgraded to good condition at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh and his family is encouraged by his progress following a stroke earlier this month. McLamb suffered a stroke on March 15 and has been receiving treatment at WakeMed ever since. There is no timetable for his release, but wife Joyce McLamb said her husband’s condition is improving every day....

An earnest effort to remove nuisance vehicles throughout the city of Clinton will begin April 1. The City Council voted earlier this month to amend the City Code to give more teeth to enforcement of the city's nuisance vehicle ordinance.

A 27-year-old Spicy Jane Lane resident was slightly injured over the weekend after he was reportedly attacked by several suspects as he was attempting to drop something off at a friend’s home. Fight leads to stabbing; one injured
A Sampson County man is recovering from his injuries today while sheriff’s investigators are continuing their probe into an incident that left the man stabbed multiple times. Carlos Salvia, 33, of Cricket Lane was injured in the incident, reported to authorities around 2:29 a.m. Saturday morning. According to Cpl. Two people were treated at Sampson Regional Medical Center early Saturday evening after the pair were injured in a wreck along Morisey Boulevard at Eastover Avenue.
