Lions install new officers
On Monday night June 17, the Clinton Lions Club held its 78th annual Lions Club Installation Banquet in the fellowship hall of Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church. Following a meal prepared by Lila Parker, special awards were given and the new slate of officers for 2013-14 were installed.Those officers are, President, Jerry Hatch; 1st Year Vice President, Steve Cox; 2nd Year Vice President, Jim McGuirt; 3rd Vice President, Carolyn Pope; Secretary/Treasurer, Diane Westerbeek; Lion Tamer, Chris O’Briant; Tail Twister, Donald Wrench; 1st Year Directors Sam McCullen and James Blackmon; 2nd Year Directors Don Wilson and Stan Benton; Immediate Past President, Roger Williamson; and historian, Steve Cox.
