Register now for sports summer camps at Midway
Rising 5th through 9th grade girls can get a head start on the volleyball and basketball season by attending two 3-day summer camps being put on by Midway High School. The Volleyball Camp is June 19-21, and the basketball camp is July 29-31. Early registration is through May 31. The playoff brackets for girls soccer has been posted and two local teams will play at home today (Wednesday, May 8). Sampson County Middle School League season ends
The Sampson County Middle School Soccer League wrapped up another great season with two games on Thursday. Hobbton hosted Roseboro-Salemburg, and Union visited Sampson Middle School. Clinton’s Lady Horses were named conference champions after securing a 3-1 victory against Richlands Friday night, one set aside to honor the Dark Horse seniors. Hobbton Middle wins Silent 10’ game honoring Estrada

SRMC Partners for Life Golf Tournament a success
The Sampson Regional Medical Center Foundation held its 10th Annual Partners for Life Golf Tournament last Thursday, April 25.
