The Hobbton Wildcat baseball team lost to Spring Creek 12-2 in 5 innings Tuesday night.

Leading the Wildcat effort was Brandon Rogers with 1-3. Gage Herring was 1-1 with a walk, a double and 1 run scored. Mason Wilson was 1-2 with a run scored.

Wildcat coach Les Spell said, “We just ran into a hot team. It seemed like every time they hit the ball, they found a hole. We had some good hits but just couldn’t find the hole. We did a good job of hitting balls straight to people. We’ve got to play better against a team like Spring Creek.”

The Wildcats travel to Neuse Charter Wednesday and to Princeton Friday night. Spell continued, “Maybe we can get one out of those tw0”
