The Lady Crusaders beat the Dark Horses in straight sets in the last home match of the season for Harrells. The Harrells team really played well Monday and the seniors went out in style on their home court for senior night.

“It was a great win on senior night. We played together and we played aggressive. I am very proud of all the girls,” said HCA coach Regan Murphy.

The first set of the day was close for the first few points, but the Crusaders kept building their gap and would take the lead 11-4 when the Clinton coach called a time-out to regroup. Once Harrells was back on the court they took off and built their lead to 21-8. Sydney Norris had a great serving game for the Crusaders. Clinton tried to mount a comeback but the Crusaders pulled together to take set one 25-15.

Set two was more of a fight as this game was closer all the way through. Clinton put up a good fight but Harrells held on. Kyra Gensel and Cameron Simpson had an excellent serving game and helped lead the Crusaders to a 25-18 win in the set.

In set three, it was all Crusaders. Although, the first few points were close, Harrells ran away with the last set and won by their biggest margin on the night, the score being 25-13.
