Hobbton Middle in win column


Hobbton Middle soccer ended their three-game losing streak and got their first win, beating Roseboro-Salemburg 2-1. The Wildcats would score four minutes into the game. Alberto Caamano’s cross from right side found Jesus Montes (pictured) at the opposite side of the goal, and Montes one-touched it in for the score. The teams battled it out for 20 minutes, exchanging shots. Roseboro scored with five minutes left to end the first half. In the second half, Montes got his second goal off a misplayed ball by the Leopard defense to seal the win. Hobbton’s record improves to 1-3-2.
