Newkirk shines, but HCA falls in final game

Shaquor Newkirk had a breakout game for Harrells Christian Academy on Friday, rushing for 143 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown, to go along with his four tackles and an interception on defense. It wasn’t enough to stump Ravenscroft though, as Harrells fell 30-12. They lost control in the first half, going down 24-0, but fought back hard in second half in a comeback attempt. The Crusaders end the season at 4-6 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
