Clinton Men’s basketball will host a 12 team jamboree on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Games will be played in the CHS main and auxiliary gyms, and the Sampson Middle School gym.
Admission is $5 per person. This will gain you entry to all 3 gyms. Competing schools include Eastern Wayne, Southern Wayne, Laney, Ashley, Farmville Central, Oxford Webb, Cape Fear, South Granville, West Johnston, Jones Senior and CB Aycock.
“We encourage the community to come out to support the team as they begin the 2015 – 16 season,” said Clinton’s head coach, Randy Jordan. The Dark Horses enter the new season ranked second in the state in the 2A ranks, according to the NCPreps.com folks.
The new season comes with big expectations for the ‘Horses, and they are set to get things under-way on Wednesday.
