In a baseball game that was all Wildcats, they came away with a 21-0 win over Neuse Charter Tuesday night.

The Wildcats jumped on Neuse Charter early, picking up 3 runs in the first inning. They continued the onslaught through the game picking up 10 runs in the fourth inning. The Wildcats had 13 hits.

“Tonight the guys came out and were very aggressive. They were very hungry and they proved it with offense and solid defense,” commented Coach Chris Carroll. “I congratulate Hunter Britt who had 4 RBI’s tonight. He batted real well. Gage (Herring) pitched another outstanding game. Gage is really finding his control. His pitches are right on target. He is really battling for us. Overall, It was a really good game and we are looking forward to spring break.”

Jackson McLamb had a good night at the plate. Mason Wilson had 2 hits. “Mafi Boyer played really strong for us as well. He is one who is there every game but doesn’t get the recognition he probably should,” said Carroll.

The Wildcats with take of for spring break and get back into action Tuesday, April 5 at James Kenan. The will travel to North Duplin April 6.
