The Midway Middle School golf team improved to 2-0 with a win at Keith Hills Country Club on Monday. The Raiders played against Harnett County teams, including Dunn Middle and Harnett Central, and went on to top them all with a team score of 192 on the Orange Course at Keith Hills.

Logan Patrick of Midway earned top medalist honors with a one over par round of 37 during the 9 hole match.

The middle school team was started to get the players prepared to play tournament golf at the high school level, and they have since been given a taste of competition and have succeeded in their first two matches. They won their first match at Chicora Country Club last week with a score of 196.

The teams alternate where they play their matches between Chicora and Keith Hills, so they are set to be back at Chicora for their next match next week. The 9 hole match is set to begin at 3 p.m. next Wednesday.
