MCA Baseball ended their run in the championship round of the Carolinas Christian School Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday, May 7th, in Lumberton.

The Lions defeated the Antioch Gators on Friday to advance to the final round against Scotland Christian on Saturday. Although the Lions fell to Scotland by a score of 7-4, MCA displayed top-notch defensive plays ranging from their seniors all the way down to their middle school players.

Only their second year in the conference, the Lions finished 5-2 and secured the second place trophy. Although MCA will be losing three seniors over the off-season, coaches are optimistic in the level of improvement they have witnessed from their younger players. Mintz Baseball looks to continue their successes into the next year.
