PHILADELPHIA — Here are some interesting statistics from the Democratic National Convention from Monday and into Tuesday:

• 57 fiberglass donkeys have been placed around downtown Philadelphia by Citywide Public Installation in support of the 2016 Democratic National Convention. The donkeys represent the 50 U.S. states, 5 U.S territories, Washington D.C., and Democrats Abroad.

• 30 protesters were arrested Monday night outside the Wells Fargo Center. That was the latest number released, but there could have been more. Most of those taken into custody were part of the large group — thousands — that have been protesting the DNC continuously. Most appear to be college-aged millennials.

• 248 Pennsylvania delegates — the fifth largest contingent at the DNC — are here to cast their ballot Tuesday. The roll call will be taken today. Clinton needs exactly 2,383 delegate votes to secure the nomination.
