Although they didn’t break the world record Friday night, the Sampson Middle School attempt set a new Clinton record for people balancing books on their head while walking at the same time. Over 500 people of all ages successfully participated in the fundraising event, and all were enthusiastic and excited to set a new local record. Thousands of dollars was raised during the fall festival and record attempt.
