The Halls High School Class of 1954 met at the home of Michael Mozingo recently for a social. Classmates attending were Perry Hope, Dixie Casey Sinclair, Durwood Sinclair, Glenwood Boyette, Hazel McCullen, Ray and W. B. Shipp. Also attending were special guests Ann Hope, Joyce Shipp, H.B. Royal, class of 1953, and his wife Pat, Mae Troublefield (Piney Green Class of 1928), Ronnie Curry, Tracy Cashwell (daughter of Joyce Weeks Cashwell), Alice Savage Hamilton (Class of 1955 and her husband, Braman. Deceased classmates were remembered: Wade Byrd, Lawrence Bowden, Elwood Hobbs, Norma Jean Spell, Marie C. Hairr, Donald Barbour, Charles McKenzie, Edith Bradshaw, and Joyce C. Cashwell. The next reunion is planned for Oct. 8, 2011.
