Clement Elementary School, through the guidance of its physical education teacher Jennifer Honeycutt, and the support of parents and the community, raised over $4,700 for the American Heart Association. This total surpasses the highest amount raised for this event at Clement Elementary. Matthews’ fourth grade class raised the most money and will duck tape Honeycutt to the wall. The top five winners will get to have a pizza party with Honeycutt. They are: Rachael Edwards, Carli Carroll, Johnny Soto, Caitlin Holland and Miranda Byrd. Rachael and Carli tied for the top student fundraiser, both raising $250. They will also get to throw a dodge ball at Honeycutt while she is duck taped to the wall. (Courtesy photo)
