WALLACE — Johnny Whaley, 79, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009.
A funeral was 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, at Wallace Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Bobby Forehand and the Rev. Todd Narron officiating.
Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Park, Watha.
The family received friends 7-9 p.m. Friday evening at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace and other times at the home of Johnny and Eloise Whaley.

Donald N. Simmons
FOUR OAKS— Donald Nathan Simmons, infant son of Donald Arron Simmons and Stephanie Lee Young Simmons, died Jan. 9, 2009 in Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
A graveside service will be held 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at Holly Grove Holiness Church Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Simmons officiating.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by paternal grandfather, Donald Simmons, of Fayetteville; paternal step-grandmother, Vickie Simmons, of Fayetteville; paternal grandmother, Tammy Simmons; maternal grandfather, Steve Allen Young, of Four Oaks and maternal grandmother, Deborah Ann Young, of Princeton.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
