Nomination applications for the 2011 Duplin County Hall of Fame Award are now available and can be obtained by contacting any Hall of Fame board member. The award recipients will be announced during the the Nov. 3 Hall of Fame banquet
Each year the Duplin County Hall of Fame honors the lifelong contributions of two Duplin County residents and inducts them into the prestigious Hall of Fame at its annual banquet in the Jester’s Court at the Country Squire in Kenansville. Nominees may be living or deceased. One living recipient is chosen and one deceased recipient is chosen and honored for their contributions to the business, cultural, educational, or voluntary sectors of Duplin County.
Nominations are invited from any and all individuals and groups. Please obtain a nomination application from any Duplin County Hall of Fame board member and submit the application by the deadline of Sept. 25, 2011.
