Ashley AME Zion Church

Will have a deaconess program at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 7. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Ray Wilson.

Big Piney Grove Missionary Baptist

Will hold its fall revival at 7:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 8-10. Guest minister will be the Rev. Freddie Herring Sr. and the Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Autryville.

Cedar Point Disciples

of Christ Church

The 2011 Women’s Conference, “Relationships!” is open to all women and young ladies. It will be held at Cedar Point Disciples of Christ Church, Newton Grove, on Aug. 6. Registration will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. The conference is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. A luncheon will be held after the conference. Community also invited to participate in the church’s mission project: Operation Christmas Child. Enlighten The World

Worship Center

Worship in the Park, Saturday, Aug. 6, Saturday, Aug. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 17. Services start at 7 p.m. with movie beginning at 8:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department and the Worship Center. A family fun Christian entertainment and worship service. Popular area Praise and Worship bands will play well known Christian music with a contemporary style worship service. Following each service, a family movie will be shown. Freedom Freewill Holiness Church

Will hold a five preacher revival at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13. Supper will follow. The church is in Warsaw.

Goshen Church

Elder Rogers and wife Evangelist Rogers will preach Aug. 12 at St. Mary Holiness Church in Wilson at 7:30 p.m. The Youth of Goshen will visit Sunbridge Nursing Home in Mount Olive, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m. Evangelist Kendra Law will be the speaker. Law will also speak every first Monday night of the month at Oakview Commons Nursing Home in Four Oaks. Goshen Senior Choir will celebrate their anniversary Aug. 14 at 3:30 p.m. Fall revival will be held Aug.22-26. Service will begin 7:30 p.m. nightly. Homecoming will be celebrated on Aug. 28.

Greater St. Luke United Holy Church

Will have youth revival from Wednesday, Aug. 10 through Friday, Aug. 12 beginning at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Elder Quincy Brickhouse, pastor of Pearsall United Holy Church, Kenansville, will be the guest speaker for the week.Various choirs, praise dance and mime ministries have also been asked to be a part of this revival. House of Jacob Church
