Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate the Rev. Dr. H.R. Cogdell’s 54th anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 13. Dr. Haywood Gray, secretary treasurer of the General Baptist State Convention, will be the speaker for the 11 a.m. service. The Rev. Lee Downing of Friendship Baptist Church, Fayetteville, choir and congregation will be their guest at the 3 p.m. service. The church will hold an appreciation retirement celebration for the Rev.
