Shirley Carter represented the Spirit of Life Church during the 2011 Senior Adult Talent event ‘Young at Heart’ on Nov. 10, at the Eastern North Carolina Church of God state head uarters in Kenly. She took 1st place in the handcraft division with a knitted ruffled scarf. She will go on to the regional competition in April 2012 in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
