Corinth youth donate coats

During the month of October, its youth group collected coats to assist Grandparents Raising Grandchildren registered through the Family Caregiver Support Program. The elder youth group consists of four teenagers that collected approximately 175 coats. Grandparents were invited to the church on Saturday, Nov. 12 to find the perfect coat. The grandparents and grandchildren enjoyed refreshments and fellowship. A total of 30 individuasl were assisted by the working hands of these young people. One youth was quoted saying, &#8216;When we allow God to work through us, it is amazing what he can do with small numbers.&#8217; The remainder of the coats were donated to the Sampson County Department of Aging. If grandparents raising grandchildren are in need for a winter coat, please contact Vanessa Polk at 910-592-4653.
