CLINTON — Mr. Mack Thomas McClenny, 79, of 1311-B Jasper St., died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at the home of his daughter.
The funeral service will be held, 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 19, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Cotton officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
Mr. McClenny, born in Duplin County, was the son of the late Roscoe Elliott McClenny and Janie Bell Watkins McClenny, and was the widower of Doris Pauline Tevepaugh McClenny. He was a member of Colonial Heights F.W.B. Church and was a miller in seed and feed production.
Mr. McClenny is survived by five children, Katherine Hardison and husband Elmore, of Calypso, Tommy McClenny and wife Linda, of Clinton, Ed McClenny and wife Jeanie, of Turkey, Jane Jackson and husband Mark, of Roseboro, and Earl McClenny and wife Shelby, of Clinton; one brother, Henry McClenny, of Smithfield; one sister, Callie Beal, of Fayetteville; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, Jan. 18, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, in Clinton, and at other times at the home of his daughter, Jane Jackson, at 2854 Dunn Road, Roseboro.
