Gillian Farroll and Jonathan Griffin were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011 at Colonial Heights Freewill Baptist Church, Clinton, during Hurricane Irene. The Rev. Ron Davis officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Kathy Farroll of Clinton,and Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Felesia Buczynski of Clinton.

She is a 2006 graduate of Hobbton High School and a 2010 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and is currently employed as an RN at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary and Lynette Tanner of Salemburg and Mr. Ray Griffin of Clinton. He is a 2004 graduate of Clinton High School Graduate of Sampson Community College and currently employed by Professional Eye Care as an Opthalmic Technician.

The was given in marriage by her family.

Maid of Honor was the bride’s twin sister, Morgan Farroll of Clinton. Bridesmaids included Krystin Moore of Clinton, Victoria Baskett from Fayetteville, Lindsey McDermott of Matthews, Katie Griffin and of Clinton. Junior bridesmaids were Ocean-Reilly Bass and Lakelyn Bass both of Clinton. Honorary bridesmaids were Amery Capps from Clinton, and Mary Warren of Clinton.

Best man was the father of the groom, Ray Griffin of Clinton. Groomsmen were Brent Stafford of Clinton, Owen Dixon of Angier, Tyler Rose from Kinston, and Jordan Pleasant of Georgia.

Music for the ceremony provided by Geoffrey Tart, trumpet; Dr. Ron Faircloth, piano; and Mrs. Heather Faircloth, vocal solo.

A wedding reception was held at Coharie Country Club with music provided by DJ Craig Mann.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia - Sandals La Toc, the couple now resides in Clinton.
