Alice P. Daniels, 79

SALEMBURG — Mrs. Alice Freeman Pope Daniels, 79, of 1810 Peyton Daniels Road, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center in Clinton.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m, Wednesday, April 18, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Hilburn and brother Larry Autry officiating. Burial will follow in Autry-Daniels Cemetery on Peyton Daniels Road in Salemburg.

Mrs. Daniels, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Harvey Pope and Amy Lee Jackson Pope and was the widow of Dillion Daniels. She was retired from the N.C. Forest Service as a fire tower operator and also Hamilton Beach. A son, W. C. Daniels Sr., preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters, Faye D. Hall and husband, Toby of Autryville, Lois D. Westbrook and husband, Tommy of Erwin, Marie D. Vann of Clinton; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home in Clinton.

FAYETTEVILLE — Mrs. Mary Anna Hargrove, 87, of 3204 Broadview Drive, formerly of Clinton, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab Center, Fayetteville.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 19, at St. Paul Church of Christ, Clinton, with the Rev. Dr. Onyx Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hargrove is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Hargrove and Betty Hargrove both of Fayetteville, and Gloria Hargrove of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, from 1-7 p.m. with the family present from 6-7 p.m.

DUNN — Mr. Charles Russell Robinson, 74, of 166 Odyssey Lane, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Harnett Health Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital.

Will receive friends at the home of his sister, Teresa Cannon, 55 Paisley Lane, Newton Grove.
