AUTYRVILLE—Ms. Clyda Hazel Sessoms, 84, of 65 Old Stage Road, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 30, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Ronald Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery.
Ms. Sessoms was the daughter of the late Brewer and Ada Elizabeth Faircloth Sessoms.
Ms. Sessoms is survived by, two sons, Douglas Lockamy of Raleigh and Clem Lockamy of Salisbury; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 to 4 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

ROSEBORO — Mr. Jonathan James Bullard, III., 33, of Roseboro, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at Carolina Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Jesse Fennell, 84
CLINTON—Mr. Jesse Fennell, 84,of 924 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Sampson County and was a life-long resident.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Butler & Son Funeral Services Chapel, Clinton. Interment in the Sandhill Cemetery, Clinton.
He is survived by his wife, Vennie Fennell of the home; one daughter, Denise Robinson of Cary, two sons, Jesse and Steven Fennell both of Clinton, two grandchildren, Jessica Robinson of Cary, and Samuel Robinson of Morrisville, two great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held today, Jan. 28, from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family present 5 to 7 p.m.
