First Women’s Conference, May 5, 10 a.m. - noon. Evangelist Kendra Law will be the speaker. The theme for the conference is “Women’s in Action and on the Move.” Speakers will be evangelist Kendra Law, sister Sherry Jennings and minister Renee Best. A light brunch will follow the conference. Women’s Day, May 6; Evangelist Nicole Frederick will be bringing the morning message. Evangelist Frederick will also be preaching at 4 p.m. for the Home Mission Fellowship service. Cedar Point

The Christian Youth Fellowship will sponsor a yard sale Saturday, May 5, from 7:30 a.m.-noon. Proceeds from the yard sale will benefit the 2012 Relay for Life campaign. The yard sale will be held at the vacant lot across the street from Hardee’s around the circle in Newton Grove. Tickets are available for the 2012 Black Tie Event. The $25 donation benefits the Cedar Point Community Outreach. The Black Tie event will be held June 23, in the Cedar Point Multipurpose Building. The keynote speaker for this year’s event is Ms. Jennifer Daughtry, principal at Hargrove Elementary School. Contact any member for ticket information.
