Gore Self Storage named Chamber's Member of the Week The Chamber Member of the Week is Gore Self Storage. Gore Self Storage was started by Mike Gore Sr. in 1969 building storage buildings. When he decided to retire, he kept the storage buildings. The business has evolved and a few years ago was moved to the rear of Owens Home Furnishings, 601 Southeast Blvd., Clinton, and is currently owned by Frankie Owens and Mike Gore Jr. In the photo, from left, are: Brandon Underwood, Doris Gore, Frankie and Donna Owens. Mike Jr. has a “Fishing Charter” boat and was out on the ocean when the photo was taken.
