Clinton’s Zion Smith, 13, takes a refreshing dip at the Clinton Recreation and Parks Department’s swimming pool on a beautiful Monday afternoon at Royal Lane. The pool is open through the summer from 1-5 p.m. weekdays  and 1-6:45 p.m. on weekends. Each Friday night, there will be fun, games and activities that are family-oriented. This Friday ,from 6-8 p.m., will be a luau. The park will also offer swimming lessons and water aerobics exercise classes. For more information call 910-299-4906, ext. 3099.
