Ashley Marie Cottle , daughter of Lt. and Mrs. Jacob Cottle of Charleston. S.C. and granddaughter of Dan and Micki Cottle of Clinton, graduated Cum Laude from Faith Christian Academy in Summerville, S.C.
Outside of school she is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Faith Kidz and the Food Bank. Ashley is involved with her Church youth group, “Kinetic:” and recently completed a field trip to beautify and organize a chidren’s group home in Gatlinburg TN; In June she will leave, with her “Kinetic” group on her first foreign mission trip to Nicaragua.
In a special ceremony Miss Cottle was presented the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Emerging Leader scholarship award by Retired Air Force Col. John W. Marshall.
In the fall Ashley will attend Va. Tech. enrolled as a member of the “Corps of Cadets,” eventually hoping to major in the field of science.
