ROSEBORO—Mrs. Katie Mitchell Teachey, 66, of 261 Vineyard Road. Roseboro, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland by the Rev. Clarence Mitchell. Burial will follow in the Harmony Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Harrells.
Mrs. Teachey is survived by one grandson, Jeremy James of the home, one granddaughter, Brittany Shull of Kernersville; five sisters, Frances Wells of Harrells, Rachel Shaw of Ivanhoe, Susan Godsey of Orlando, Fla., Iris Riggs of Tampa, Fla., and Margaret Selley of Leland; four brothers, James Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell, both of Harrells, William Mitchell of Magnolia, and Derwood Mitchell of Roseboro.
