Incidents/Investigations

2/5 — Alison Melvin, of Roseboro, reported an attempted breaking and entering at her home. Damage was valued at $250.

2/5 — Peggy Henry, of Clinton, reported a breaking and entering/larceny at her residence. Reported stolen was two chandeliers worth $150; a motorized car worth $276 and a box of plates, valued at 4150.

2/5 — Amanda Blue, of Clinton, reported a breaking and entering/larceny at her residence. Reported stolen was a stove worth $450; a kerosene heater worth $200; a toilet seat worth $20 and a unknown amount of children’s clothing.

2/5 — David Calcutt, of Dunn, reported a breaking and entering/larceny at his residence. Reported stolen was a Ping putter valued at $150.

2/5 — Rex Williams, of Roseboro, reported a breaking and entering at his residence. Reported broken was a window valued at $300.

2/5 — James Daughtry, of Clinton, reported a a breaking and entering/larceny at his residence. Reported stolen was Dell laptop computer valued at $800. Damage to a set of French doors was $500.

2/5 — Marvin Ammons, of Clinton, reported a breaking and entering to his motor vehicle. Reported stolen was a High Point 380. semi-automatic handgun valued at $200.

2/5 — Donald Beasley of Roseboro, reported a larceny at his residence. Reported stolen was one-man wood boat (dark green) with a Mincota trolling motor on it. The license plate had a rebel flag on it and on the motor, ‘redneck’ was written backwards.

2/5 — William Larry Bullard, of Roseboro, reported a breaking and entering/larceny at his residence. Reported stolen was a laptop valued at $800; a $1,500 linoleum floor and damage to a glass door ($300).

Arrests

2/5 — Juan Matias, 41, of Kenner Road, Clinton, was charged with shoplifting. Matias attempted to steal four packs of steaks from Piggly Wiggly, located at 332 N.E. Blvd. in Clinton, valued at $66. Bond was set at $1,000 and Matias went before a judge on Feb. 5.
