GARLAND — Mrs. Vickil Locklear Sprow, 49, of 1785 Bull St., died on Thursday, July 12, 2012.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in the Oxendine Cemetery in Pembroke.

Mrs. Sprow is survived by daughter, Terri Sprow, of Roseboro; two sons, Bryan Jernigan, of Garland and Justin Kersey, both of Garland; two sisters, Verla Smith, of Leland and Shelby Melvin, of Roseboro; two brothers, Johnnie Locklear and Luther Locklear Jr., both of White Lake; three grandchildren and companion Steve Kersey, of Garland.

The family received friends on Saturday night from 6-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
