On May 5, 2012, Chancellor James A. Anderson presented Andrea Yvette Hill with a Master of Education Language Arts degree from Fayetteville State University. The presentation was a part of the largest graduating class in the university’s history.Hill is married to David C. Hill and has two children, Jacinta and Malachi.
