In Leviticus 27:14, God tells Moses to speak to the children of Israel, and he says “ And when a Man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the Lord, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad; as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.”

Now that Jesus is our newly priest, the one who gave his life for mankind, I wonder if he inspected your house would he approve of what he sees? Does the sacrifice that he made on the cross and the price that he paid for all humanity mean anything in your house?

God has called his people to be “Set apart” from the things of this world. A born again, blood washed Christian man or woman should not be entangling with the lifestyle of this world. Can Jesus be seen in your house? I know that he can be seen when we are in church, but if the truth can be said “I need him more in my house.” Our houses are the place that we dwell the most and we need his “presence” and “standards” there more than ever.

If Jesus looked in your house today would he be able to say “well done thou faith servants, you are living a life that is pleasing unto me.” Or would he say words such as “I did not die for this, you have compromised my words and have forsaken “Holy living” and your house is in “BAD Standards” and I am not pleased.”

Saints of God, could it be that the reason your house has been under attack is because you have not placed the word of God as your standard way of living? It’s the Bible way and that settles it. God says in 1 Peter 1:16 “Be yea Holy; for I am Holy. This applies to all born again, baptize in the holy spirit, blood washed Christians of this world. Does your house reflect “Holy living” or “Worldly living?” Do you allow any and everything to happen in your house?

I pray that this word would challenge you to seek out Jesus and ask him to exam your house, to see if he approves of the standards that’s been set so far.

If you want to see God move in your church, then seek him for your home first.
