LA GRANGE — Mrs. Mary Ann Sutton Bartlett, 74, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012, at her home. She was born Aug. 8, 1937, to the late Charlie Carl “C.B.” and Marjorie Wilson Sutton. Mrs. Bartlett was wife of the late Rev. Emmett Bartlett. She was a member of Walnut Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs Bartlett worked as Food Director with the Clinton City School System, and also at Belk Department Store in Clinton.

The funeral will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, from Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tony McLamb officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 25, at 4 p.m., from Grandview Cemetery, Clinton.

Mrs. Bartlett is survived by two daughters, Deborah Bartlett Holt and husband, Lonnie of Graham, Beth Bartlett Aman and husband, Michael of Clinton; son, Emmett Randall Bartlett and wife, Melva of Garland; sisters, Faye Sutton Hardy and husband, Baxter of Jason, Becky Sutton of La Grange, Alma Sutton Strickland and husband, Bobby of Saulston; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a special family friend Glenn Mewborn of Goldsboro.
