JACKSONVILLE — Ms. Betty B. Hunt-Wiggins, 93, of Keller Court, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the home of her granddaughter.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 28, in the Jones Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville. The Rev. Dr. John R. Kerr and Chaplain Kelley Wheat-Rivers will be officiating. Her burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
Ms. Wiggins was born in Sampson County, and was the daughter of the late Nathan and Bessie Byrd Barefoot. A son, William Henry Hunt Jr. also precedes her in death.
Her survivors include one son, David Allen Hunt and wife, Elvis of Maple Hill; one daughter, Betty Louise Hunt Pulley and husband, Charlie of Pinehurst; one stepson, William Ray Wiggins and wife, Jan of Augusta, Ga.; one stepdaughter, Edith Faye Dyne and husband, Tom of Jacksonville; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., on Friday, July 27, at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville and other times at 1732 Pinnacle Parkway, Hampstead.
