LOUISBURG – A Clinton teen, was named North Carolina’s Outstanding Young Miss on Sat. June 21, at Louisburg College Auditorium.

Kaitlyn Leigh Royal, daughter of Jeff and Anita Royal , won the Young Miss division which was comprised of 11-13 year olds from across the state.

She represented Sampson County’s Outstanding Little Miss program, winning the local title in March.

The Outstanding Little Miss Pageant is the only sanctioned little sister program to Miss North Carolina/Miss America. For the next year the winners of all divisions will make public appearances in order to raise money and bring attention to the Children’s Miracle Network and their individual platforms.

The other winners included Caleigh A. Crisafulli, also representing Sampson County; Little Miss Division; Olivia A. Tieman, Mini-Majestic; Abigail B. Stephens, Junior Miss Division; Tyler E. Albright, Preteen Miss Division; Sloan Mann, Petite Miss Division; and Tessa D. Hoctor, Majestic.
